Our goal is Simple: We want to help you become an awesome piano player by giving you the tools you need to succeed NOW… without taking years of studying sheet music and classical methods that, by the way, won’t move you closer to playing the soulful, gospel music you love and cherish. You’ll enjoy a smooth journey on the piano without the struggles of the past.
Our classes and workshops fit easily into your schedule with classes all throughout the week, in both morning and evening options.
The System
Over the next year, we'll work together to master the 5 phases that are guaranteed to make you a skillful gospel and soulful musician:
Basics and Fundamentals (Definition)
First, we’ll make sure you’ve got all the basic piano knowledge that ultimately makes up the songs you’ll enjoy playing. This is the “DEFINITION” (or what we like to call the “Understand It” phase). This is largely gained from coming to class multiple times per week.
Skills and Training (Execution)
Next, we’ll turn to playing, playing, playing. Understanding is one thing but if you can’t play it, you’ll never be a musician. This is the “EXECUTION” or “Play It” phase. This is largely gained from coming to the general training classes later in the week as well as the guided practice sessions up to 3x a week with your designated coach.
Playing In The Real-World (Application)
With specialized ear-training, you’ll not only be able to know, play, and apply various things to your playing, but you’ll be able to hear when certain things are happening in songs. This is the chief goal of an ear-musician - to hear chords and progressions in real songs and immediately know what’s going on— without feeling lost or confused. This is largely covered in the General Training classes, which happen towards the end of each week.

Playing In All 12 Keys (Transposition)
Unlike sheet music where you play exactly what’s written, ear musicians must have the ability to play in all keys because you never know when someone will sing in C major or F major or even Ab major. Once you know it, can play it, can apply it, can hear it, now you must transpose it! Luckily, every class and 12 week session changes the keys of examples so you’re never stuck in one key. This is true freedom!
The Setup
Here's how we'll make it happen together over the next 12 months:
Orientation Session
As soon as you join, you'll participate in a live orientation session held throughout the week. This session will introduce you to your coaches, the program’s structure, expectations, and how to use the learning and community platform
Cycles
One year program broken into 12-week cycles and classes that you can repeat or progress through as you master one level.

Elective Workshops, Bootcamps, and Practice Sessions
In addition to your core classes, there are a number of workshops, song learning sessions, and “Church Essentials” bootcamps to join throughout the week. You can also practice with your classmates and coaches multiple evenings out of the week.
Engagement and Participation
While it is recommended that you attend at least two classes per week, attending as many or all activities will enhance your learning experience and keep you constantly practicing and playing on a daily basis. Each class and event focuses on different aspects of piano mastery, from technique to song learning.
NOTE: All sessions are held via Zoom, providing you flexibility and direct access to instructors for real-time feedback. This structured schedule ensures consistent progress and personalized support throughout your learning journey.
