Position Summary

Get ready to conduct 13 dynamic one-hour group sessions each week via Zoom, immersing students in the world of soulful music. Be available on WhatsApp to provide responsive support, creating a supportive learning environment. Enjoy the flexibility of remote work, crafting a schedule that suits your availability.

Dedicate 20-27 hours per week to group sessions and video critiques, fueling your students' musical growth. Join us as a Piano Coach and shape the next generation of talented musicians!

We're Seeking Indiviuals With The Following Qualifications:

  • Proven proficiency in playing and teaching piano, specializing in soulful genres like gospel, blues, jazz, and R&B.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with students and provide personalized guidance.

  • Ability to conduct engaging and interactive online classroom sessions, utilizing platforms like Zoom for a dynamic learning environment.

  • Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Reliable internet connection and proper equipment for seamless remote teaching.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Take charge of conducting 13 one-hour group classroom sessions each week via Zoom

Be available on WhatsApp throughout the week to promptly address client inquiries and provide support

Enjoy the freedom of working remotely and creating a schedule that aligns with your availability, to the extent possible.

Prospecting, enrolling, and nurturing new clients into the training program will be your responsibility. 

Managing refund inquiries, defaulted payment assistance

Supporting client success teams as necessary

Prospecting: Your minimum KPI for calls from our lead sources will be calls.

Enrolling: Zoom will be used for calls, and it is your obligation to enroll customers in the KPI program.

Tracking your pipeline of potential students who hung up on the first call is essential for nurturing.

The position is full-time and virtual, so you can work from anywhere. We have team members throughout the United States, Canada, Africa, and The Philippines at HearandPlay.

This opportunity is for you if:

  • You eat, sleep, and breathe music! Your passion for the piano and soulful genres like gospel, blues, jazz, and R&B will naturally inspire and ignite the same fire within your students.
  • You are disciplined, and dedicated, and are constantly looking to improve your piano skills, qualities which allow you to truly understand what it takes to learn to play the piano.

DISQUALIFIERS: Please DO NOT apply to this position if you:

  • You are impatient and short-tempered. If you find it challenging to remain calm and composed while guiding students through their musical journey please do not apply
  • You lack experience when it comes to playing soulful genres like gospel, blues, jazz, and R&B
  • You don’t aspire and dream of improving your piano playing skills (this wouldn’t be a good example for students, especially when they are having a tough time)
  • You aren't  super passionate about music and the impact it can have on people's lives
  • You tend to run low on energy and enthusiam and would struggle with transmitting a consistently high vibe through Zoom.
